Melisio Camaitoga was a former Columban student and a Companion in Mission. After finishing his studies from St. Johns College, Cawaci, he joined the Columban Formation house. During these years, he studied at the Pacific Regional Seminary, Suva. He spent one year in Manila and his First Mission Assignment in Peru with Columban Fr. Felisiano Fatu. After six years, he discovered that this was not his calling then he became a teacher. Melisio was married to Laniana in April 2007.
Columban Fr Donal McIlraith celebrated the Resurrection Mass and was assisted by three other priests.
Friends, families and loved ones bid him goodbye at his village in Komave.
May he rest in peace.
