On Sunday afternoon 5th Dec 2021 at the Columban Central House, Nasese, Nbwi La Aung (Francis Xavier) renewed his temporary membership of the Society of St Columban for one year.
The oath of membership was administered by Fr John McEvoy and witnessed by Fr Frank Hoare. The simple ceremony took place in the Columban Chapel in the Central House – during the Student’s holy hour – Benediction was given by Fr Donal McIlraith.
Francis Xavier’s companion Kyaw Zaw (Peter) both from Myanmar and Theology Students in Manila also renewed his temporary membership in Manila recently. Congratulations to them both progressing to the next step of becoming missionary priests. Both have completed their 1st Missionary Assignment in Fiji.
