I call upon you to renew your efforts to appreciate and respect each other's cultural diversity.
In a world of increasing challenges from secularization and materialism, I invite all my brothers and sisters in the Christian faith to respond with ever more intense love to the Lord's call to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. It is also my prayer that people of all religions all people of goodwill renew their human solidarity in the cause of peace. On my part I invoke all people of Fiji the blessings of full and lasting peace.
