Tropical Cyclone Ana has left behind lots of damage. There was wide spread flooding in the country for the past two weeks. Families in the greater Labasa area were without water and electricity for five days.

The parishioners of Labasa have helped in cleaning the church and school for the last two days.

People are now picking up the pieces together. Life must go on!

Few shops have opened while others are still cleaning and clearing the debris that entered their shops.

It will take time when businesses will return to normal. Farms have destroyed. It will take few months to find the green vegetables on the market.

We continue to remember all them in our prayers.

Compiled by a  conversation with Fr. Carlo Jung, Parish Priest, Holy Family Parish, Labasa.
