Travel Update from Fr. Donal

Greetings from Dalgan. I am fine. I had a great week in Ealing, London.

I was well looked after your classmate, Fr Dan O’ Malley, and mine own classmate, Fr Gerry Markey and of course by Fr Pat O’Beirne was the soul of hospitality. Fr Tom Ryan was also welcoming.

I had John Lee (Fr Willie’s brother) and a bunch of Fiji soldiers on Saturday 14th May. We had a great afternoon and night catching up with kava and music.

Also present were the two Seeto’s that I had married (Saula's uncle) and Alisi, (Aminiasi’s sister and her husband.)

The previous day, Sophia and Ling, our two lay missionaries in Britain walked the feet off me in London the day before where we saw everything and met Sr Ann Suman from Labasa working at the French Church in Soho.

I am having a wonderful rest here in Dalgan now.Soon it will be home to Cork and Macroom to visit friends and relatives, sometime over the weekend or maybe Monday 23rd May.  Today I tested Negative again for Covid TG.

I caught up with Fr Pat Colgan here. He looks much better now, but I can’t see Fr JJ Ryan as he is in the Columban Nursing Home, but I will talk to him by phone if I can before I leave Dalgan (our Central House in Ireland.)

Loloma to all in Fiji!
