As Jesus drew near Jerusalem, he saw the city and wept over it, saying, “If this day you only knew what makes for peace– but now it is hidden from your eyes. For the days are coming upon you when your enemies will raise a palisade against you; they will encircle you and hem you in on all sides. They will smash you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave one stone upon another within you because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.”
Heavenly Father, You are Our God.
We thank You for everything You have given us.
We thank You for Your great mercy and love for us.
Lord, there are times we don’t recognize all the opportunities You are offering us, to change and turn back to you.
You are so near to us, just waiting for us to call on You, to comfort us in the darkness moments of our lives.
Help us to listen and believe in Your word.
Remove the things that are unnecessary in life, things that hinder us from knowing You.
Draw us closer to You
In Jesus name, we pray.
Amen.
