The Ocean has long inspired wonder, respect, and spiritual reflection among people of many faiths. On June 20th, the different faiths and cultures will gather to celebrate the diversity of their spiritual traditions while affirming our common responsibility to care for the Ocean. May our faiths inspire gratitude for creation, compassion for one another, and commitment to protecting the waters that nuture all life. Our different paths can come together in respect, understanding, and hope.

May the Ocean continue to teach us wisdom, unity and peace.

Season of Creation school competition

The Season of Creation Competition runs yearly across Australia, Fiji, and New Zealand. Primary and Secondary students are invited to creatively share their response to each years theme. Students can submit artwork, video or poetry on the theme. The entries will be judged by members of the Peace, Ecology and Justice Office.
