Both John the Baptist and Jesus were persecuted for living and proclaiming the truth. Jesus' unconditional love for the marginalised, such as children, women, sinners, the sick, and foreigners challenged societal norms. We are called to recognise and embrace God's love for all people, regardless of their status or actions, especially for persecuted Christians worldwide.
