God is transcendent. But Jesus, in this discourse of the bible verses, is trying to emphasize that God is with us. God is present. God is intimate. God is love. To grasp that, he gives us the spirit of truth, and this spirit of truth will lead us to complete truth. The truth is God is present, and he is here in our midst.
