Suva Women’s Interfaith Group Visits the Blind School

Suva Women’s Interfaith Group.

Thank you to the women’s Interfaith group for visiting the blind school children here in Vatuwaqa, Suva. With the aim to reach out and share our faith through charity work, a group of women from different faiths and culture gathered to be hearts of families, to share and support by visiting the children with groceries and cooked meals.

These children had prepared a surprise program for us through songs, typewriting, introducing themselves, reading out alphabets, etc. I could see these children were very caring, supporting and treating each other whole heartedly.

After the children presented their programs, they thanked the Women’s Interfaith group for the visit and for the meal and groceries brought for them.

I admired them as they are focused on their studies, and full of inspiration to find a place in this world. They don’t complain, although they know they need much more effort to succeed.

I can see the strength is in our shared values, and love is at the heart of the deep meaningful actions by women from various faiths, this brings a lot of blessings in our lives.

The Suva Women’s Interfaith Group will continue this initiative and share obligations to as many of our people/children who are affected in all religions and nationalities.

The visitation ended with the Universal Prayer by the women’s Interfaith Group for all religions, tradition, culture, and respect for each otherThe women’s Interfaith group thanked the teachers and children for the lovely program they had presented with love and kindness
