In this picture the Caritas NZ – Research and Advocacy team visited for a networking meeting and follow up on the Concept and the production of Tagi as we were initial partners and contributors to its discussions up to the consultation with the FCBCO team last year. We were also part of the team together for the UN Oceans Conference last year which they also followed. They also asked about a report from the 2016 Winston Cyclone because it is related to one of our up coming program - Bure and Bio Diversity not realising that I was the same person and we were working together with Martin (middle)when I shared that perspective during the Response and Relief effort while we were the Disaster Team for the Archdiocese of Suva. They also took interviews and video documentation of the Climate Change, Sea Level rise, Bio Diversity loss including Seagrass deforestation as in the photos below relating them to our Columban priorities. Sea grass loss is a something which we must be concerned about because they are vital for a healthy ocean and livelihood on the foreshore for humans and fish alike.
