That is the message that Kevin sent me after his research and also reading about our work in help stopping the Mining in Ra in my Facebook page. He has maternal links to Kulukulu, Sigatoka and he came to show his support for our work and how he wants to bring his family to support the Stopping of the mining in Sigatoka. He is currently finishing his studies in Australia majoring in Environmental law.
We hope that we can accompany and support this young man’s desire of protecting his Homeland in Sigatoka because it is not an easy fight against these huge mining Cooperations.
Yet, it was encouraging to get this kind of responses because it can give some indication of the effectiveness and reach of our work and can also be the evaluation we need on how we can better improve our services.
