Was indeed blessed and thankful to be invited to be part of this discussion and to speak to different church leaders and denominations on the above topic. It is encouraging to see different strengths and strategies by different churches and groups speaking up and sharing this very personal and sensitive subject and the willingness to address them according to their different contexts and challenges.
This is also a huge problem and challenge for the Catholic church as sexual abuses and violence occurs within the Clergy and our families in our communities which we must respond to.
Working together as a body of Christ.
Different religious group, of young men, women , pastors and survivors of abuse collaborate and discuss how we can assist each other.
Our call is to bring the Gospel to life by the action we take in addressing this “deep hurts” and we have along way to go on this continuous process.
