Emily Tabua is the Faith Formation Head of Commission and Coordinator for Sema Women at St Pius Parish, Raiwaqa, and oversees the parish’s Children’s Ministry. She spoke on launching the Laudato Si in May with the Children of St Pius. Laudato Si was launched with the children after they had gone through an Ecological Justice Workshop. The children launched the Masi Mural of Laudato Si by writing messages on protecting the environment. Emily spoke about what the children learned from the workshop and their activity afterwards.
In May, Emily played a key role in the launch of Laudato Si’ at St. Pius, which was celebrated alongside the parish children. This event followed an Ecological Justice Workshop, where the children learned about environmental protection and sustainability.
As part of the launch, the children unveiled the Masi Mural of Laudato Si’, a creative project where they wrote messages advocating for the protection of the environment. During her speech, Emily shared insights into what the children had learned during the workshop, highlighting their commitment to ecological justice and the hands-on activity they participated in afterwards to reinforce the message of care for creation.
